Introduction to Oracle Real Application Clusters
(RAC)
This class is an abbreviated version of our
Optimizing Oracle RAC on Linux and SAN course. It is
designed for the DBA, system designer or system
architect who is familiar with the Oracle database.
The student will become proficient in configuring,
administering and tuning Oracle RAC systems. This
course is focused mainly on the Oracle RAC
application and less on the interactions with the
operating system, hardware and SAN infrastructure.

Optimizing Oracle RAC on Linux and SAN
This class is designed for the DBA, system
designer or system architect who is familiar with
the Oracle database. Students will become proficient
with the integration of Oracle Real Application
Clusters (RAC) on Red Hat Linux running on a storage
area network (SAN). The student will also become
proficient in configuring, administering and tuning
Oracle RAC systems, including the operating system
and SAN infrastructure.

Performance Tuning Oracle on Linux/UNIX
This class is designed for the DBA, system
administrator, developer, or technical consultant
who wishes to learn how to tune Oracle databases on
the Linux or UNIX operating systems for maximum
performance. Students will become proficient in all
aspects of Oracle database performance tuning. This
includes database and instance tuning, and SQL
tuning. The hardware and software interactions that
affect Oracle database performance are also covered
in this course and includes tuning the operating
system, Oracle I/O and storage area networks.
Hands-on lab exercises will be used to reinforce key
Oracle performance tuning concepts.
